Blue Cave Biševo

The Blue Cave is a natural phenomenon, located in Balun Bay on the east side of the island of Biševo. It has been available to the public since 1884, when the outer entrance was breached, through which the cave is entered by a small rowing boat. The cave has two openings, one smaller, artificially deepened, through which a rowing boat can pass and this opening has no effect on the lighting in the cave. The second opening is like a vault and is much wider, on the south side of the cave below sea level and sunlight penetrates through it. Around noon for the calm sea, the sun’s rays penetrate through the underwater opening into the Blue Cave, reflecting from the white bottom and illuminating the cave with blue, and objects in the water with a silver color. Due to the small depth of the cave and the underwater crack, it is suitable for diving of divers of all categories. It is 3 – 20 m deep. The cave is geomorphologically very interesting and represents a typical karst shape.

Bay Stiniva Vis

One of the most beautiful beaches on the Adriatic is hidden on the island of Vis. It is surrounded by high gorges that hide it so much that it can barely be seen from the open sea. Nevertheless, the sea access is ideal because a demanding goat trail leads to Stiniva, which takes 20 minutes to descend. Stiniva is so surrounded by steep stone cliffs that half of it is always in the shade. Stiniva is a pebble beach for lovers of beautiful clear sea and wild scenery.

Beaches

We also offer our guests unforgettable swimming experiences on various landscaped or wild beaches, by arrangement the excursions can be completely adapted to the wishes of the guests.
